Information to share before material review

  • Machine type, yarn or fiber material, speed, tension, contact angle and whether the part is fixed or rotating.
  • Drawing or sample photos showing yarn path, hole radius, groove area, mounting surface and worn contact surfaces.
  • Current problem, such as guide wear, broken yarn, rough surface, groove formation, corrosion or frequent replacement.
  • Surface finish expectation, quantity, replacement schedule and whether the part is standard or custom.
