Precision Quadrupole Mass Filter-Core Component Of Mass Spectrometer
As the core component of the mass spectrometer, the quadrupole mass filter achieves ion screening through precise electric field control. The quadrupole is usually composed of four parallel metal rods, and two pairs of electrodes apply: direct current voltage (DC, U) and radio frequency voltage (RF, V·cos(ωt)). By adjusting the DC and RF voltages, ions
